Our sister company, Gladiator Cornhole Gear® is a professional cornhole equipment manufacturer licensed with the American Cornhole League since 2019.

In its simplest form, an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is a one-of-a-kind, verifiable digital or physical asset that can be exchanged between a creator or seller and a buyer. Each NFT is Non-fungible basically meaning unique. A dollar bill is fungible because if you trade a dollar bill for another dollar bill, you end up with the same thing. Each NFT has a unique code or address that exists on the blockchain which is an online digital ledger or database that records transactions. Think of this as a digital certificate of ownership.

It really depends on whom you ask. Many people find NFTs attractive because they offer a way to directly monetize digital content in a way that wasn't possible before. We see this as an opportunity to reach a new generation of collectors.

NFTs aren’t cryptocurrencies, but they are built using technology similar to Ethereum and Bitcoin - known as "web3 rails". Also, like cryptocurrencies, NFTs exist on a blockchain, which verifies their unique identity and ownership. This means the blockchain keeps a record of all the transactions connected to the NFT and the property it represents.

A “wallet” is a secure, digital location which safely stores your cryptocurrency and NFTs after you have purchased them. Your wallet will have a specific “address” assigned to it, which is essentially the ID or publicly facing code for your wallet. The address will act as an identifier during the process of transferring assets in and out of your wallet.

Gladiator Cornhole NFTs mints NFTs on the Solana blockchain, you will need to use a Solana compatible wallet. Having a wallet is required in order to receive and store your NFT. There are plenty of options out there, but if you do not already have a Solana wallet, we highly suggest trying Phantom Wallet. This wallet is free and considered a user-friendly option compatible with Solan blockchain that can be used to store NFTs purchased and/or sold on our future marketplace. 

In the future we plan to reach out to crypto.com to be able to offer a custodial wallet option.
